Delta Dental Insurance

We accept nearly all insurance plans at Apple Denture Center including Delta Dental.
Recently, we were forced to make the difficult decision to no longer be a “Participating Provider” with Delta.
What does this mean for those who have Delta Dental Insurance coverage?

• Apple Denture Center will no longer be listed on your companies’ list of dental providers, though we STILL accept your insurance.
• The biggest change is the most notable and is unique to Delta and Blue Cross Blue Shield. It goes as follows:
• Your dental benefit check will be sent directly to you, not to our office as before.
• This necessitates that we collect the fee for services at the time they are performed. You will then be sent a check from Delta within a few weeks.
• This is a dramatic change for those accustomed to having work performed and not being required to pay for it at that time.
• Please note that most other insurance companies do not have that requirement.
